2022 “When Koala Meets Panda” China-Australia Short Video Special Collection kicks off

“When Koala Meets Panda” is back. Co-organized by the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Brisbane and People’s Daily Online Australia, the 2022 “When Koala Meets Panda” China-Australia Short Video Contest Special Collection will kick off on Sept. 1, 2022.

Dr. Stephen FitzGerald AO

This video introduces Dr. Stephen FitzGerald's story with China.He served as the first Australian Ambassador to China between 1973-1976 and is renowned for his persistent efforts to promote and spread Chinese culture in Australia.
Professor Jocelyn Chey AM

Professor Chey moved from the University of Sydney to Canberra in 1973 when Australia first established diplomatic relations with China and worked in the Departments of Trade and Foreign Affairs for more than twenty years.
Professor Colin Mackerras AO

Colin Mackerras is an Australian sinologist, Emeritus Professor at Griffith University, and specialist in Chinese culture.He has published on national minorities of China, Australian-Chinese relations and images of China in the West.
Professor David Goodman

Professor Goodman is Director of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney, where he is also Professor of Chinese Politics.He also established the Department of China Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou.
